Interesting only to us windsurfers, but great for us. Narrative gradually improving through the book! Lots of good thoughts as well.
I'll politely disagree with the reviewer who said this is only for windsurfers. ) I never have windsurfed and suspect never could windsurf and i LOVED this book!
It's completely different from my usual reads...I'm a fiction junkie and love plots and stories and character development...all that stuff. To be honest I only got Jono's book because I greatly enjoy his brother Gregg's novels and Gregg sent around a notice to his email list about Jono's book coming out and that got me curious. I also admire adventurers and was a bit intrigued by the tiny amount of background Gregg gave.
Somehow, some way, I still can't explain it...this book is mesmerizing! Gripping! A thoroughly enjoyable read from the start and now that I've finished it I miss it!
Well done! Can't wait for the next one, Jono! All the best on your windsurf round Europe!!!
